Refund policy

At Dilli6online, we bring you the authentic heart of Chandni Chowk. Because we deal in delicate, high-value ethnic wear and heritage pieces, we maintain a strict but transparent return policy to ensure quality for all our customers.
1. The 48-Hour Return Window
We have a 48-hour return policy, which means you have exactly 48 hours after receiving your item to request a return. Requests made after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. Returns are accepted ONLY for:

Wrong product received.

Major color mismatch (excluding minor shade variations due to screen brightness).

Product damaged in transit (Unboxing video proof required).

Size issues (only for non-stitched, standard-sized items).
We do NOT accept returns for:

"Change of mind" or "Did not like the look."

Slight variations in embroidery or thread-work (common in handmade items).
3. Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions
Certain categories cannot be returned for hygiene and quality control:

Jewellery & Accessories.

Stitched/Altered Items: Once a suit or blouse is stitched or altered to your size, it is final sale. We offer alterations, but the customer bears the shipping and service cost.

Sale Items: Items purchased during a clearance or flash sale are non-returnable.
4. How to Start a Return
To start a return, you must contact us at dilli6online@gmail.com or via our official WhatsApp.
Mandatory Proof: You must provide a continuous, unedited unboxing video or clear photos of the defect. Without this proof, your request will be rejected.
If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
5. Return Shipping Charges

Genuine Defect/Wrong Item: Shipping costs are shared 50-50 between the customer and Dilli6online.

Size Exchanges: The customer bears 100% of the return and reshipping charges.

Original Shipping & COD Fees: The ₹99 COD convenience fee and original shipping charges are strictly non-refundable.
6. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return.

Prepaid Orders: If approved, you’ll be refunded via Bank Transfer within 7–10 business days.

COD Orders: Refunds for COD orders are issued as Store Credit or Exchange only. No cash or bank refunds will be provided for COD transactions.
7. Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch. Once the item has left our Chandni Chowk office, it cannot be cancelled.
